Thank You

Putting together this website was not a lot of work. I did some quick wireframes, designs, I created the custom post types and the built the frontend. While it spanned many weeks I don’t think I spent more than 20 hours on it overall.

However a lot of excellent work went into some of the elements you see which are bought or openly available on the web. Fonts, illustrations, icons and other elements were made by others and I hope I can thank them all here. A big thank you to everyone listed here, this website would be a whole lot uglier if you guys weren’t around.

• I stole the background (with permission) from Slobodan Kustrimovic from WP Scientist
• The website logo and sidebar headings use the awesome Lobster Font
• Blue background headings use the similarly awesome Josefin Sans from Typemade
• Shannon Whitley created the extremely useful Twit Connect which I use to enable commenting via Twitter accounts
• Hiroaki Miyashita made the nice looking Lightbox Gallery Plugin used in gallery posts
• User avatars are a no brainer thanks to Gravatar
• None of this would be available (or would have been much harder to do) without WordPress, my favorite CMS
• Akismet helps my comments stay spam free automatically
• I’ve been using the Theme Test Drive plugin by Vladimir Prelovac for ages on many projects to preview themes in development
• Viper007Bond’s Regenerate Thumbnails plugin comes in handy when figuring out or changing image sizes
