About Me

I was born in Hungary but we moved around a bit so I went to school in the US, Ireland and Greece. More recently I will be getting my BA from Budapest Business School.

I started out writing my own blog around 2001 and decided I wanted a background color change. One thing led to another and I became proficient in PHP, MySQL, jQuery and other languages needed for web development. I am expanding my knowledge by venturing into other languages like Ruby, Ruby on Rails, C# and others.

I started working freelance to gain some experience but have since (thankfully) been able to stop working for clients. I am currently involved in a partnership with Science Squared making the awesome Bitesize Bio and other projects. I will soon be handing all my coding duties over to my friend Laszlo and I will be focusing more on writing and some other upcoming projects.

I write for a number of online magazine such as Smashing Magazine, iPad.Appstorm and Nettuts.

When not knee-deep in code or an article I play the guitar or the piano, sing, play bowling, squash, table tennis, board games, poker, ride my bike, take photos and various other things I indulge in for a few weeks then forget about for months.
